I started to wind down this night by continuing to try to summon those Aliens. I wanted answers as soon as possible.
The next day was just like any ordinary day, at least to start. I did my fatherly duties as usual.
Then I headed outside to harvest my money.
I was soon going to find out though that things could get rough soon, because guess who decided to show his face around here? Oh, and he brought a guest too.
Xeno immediately pulled a gun on me, determined to finish the job.
Xeno: Stop right there. I should make you suffer.
::Meanwhile on the other side of town, someone was on a race against time to help Robert before it was too late::
Robert: Really, Xeno? You just don’t know when to quit now, don’t you.
Xeno: Silence, puny pathetic rat. I will not stop until you are dead in my basement floor, and I got this guy to make sure it happens.
Robert: You can’t tell me what to do. You should get rehab somewhere and learn to change your ways.
Xeno: Never, earthling. This world will be mine, and I will make sure of it. All your pathetic allies will suffer by my hand, and the world will learn to fear me when all is said and done.
Robert: That’s not going to happen, punk. As you can see, just the two of you guys can’t handle all the people on my side. So you lose either way.
Xeno: Ugggh. Snake, please draw your gun and end this miserable human’s life.
Snake: Ummm, I don’t know. I don’t know if I can live in a world that makes me fear for my life.
Xeno: Come on, already. You can be my vice-president if you cooperate with me.
Snake: I’d rather pass. I got my own problems to deal with. Oh, and you never paid me my money for my services, so consider our contract void.
Xeno: What??? How dare you betray me!!!! Snake, I order you to eliminate this human now!!!!! I will soon turn this gun on you if you don’t listen to me.
Snake: You make me laugh, Xeno. I am immortal and that gun will be just as useless if you use it on me. I am stronger than you, no doubt. *To Robert* I am sorry for coming here. This asshole keeps using me for his pet projects.
Robert: Well, thanks. I suggest you run now.
Xeno: Human, don’t tell my henchman what to do, or I will kill you on the spot!
Snake: You know as I realize it now, I really shouldn’t be here. I don’t work with insane fools like you, Xeno. I am going to use my instincts and run away from here now. *To Robert* Good luck with your life now, I will never bother you again. *To Xeno* Go to hell, liar. I am out!
Xeno: Snake! I demand you to stay here! I am your superior! You work for me!
Snake: *scoffs* I work for no one, bub. Just for me. Killing this innocent man does nothing to help me and my standing. Find a new hobby, man.
I then saw The Snake run away from the scene. It seems like the tables have now turned on my nemesis, but I wasn’t going to be celebrating just yet, because Xeno was probably going to simply end it for me right now in a rage.
Xeno: Come back here, maggot! We have a job to do!! Snake, Snake!!!!!!!!
The Snake briefly turned around to say something before disappearing for good.
Snake: Listen, Xeno. Karma will come to you in time. You will see. You are just a controlling, kniving lunatic that throws fits when you don’t get your way. I am going back to Egypt, where I belong. Farewell, sucker!
I never saw the Snake again. I was glad to see that he had a conscience himself, unlike someone else I know.
Before Xeno was able to turn around and pull the trigger on me, another person showed up in the nick of time.
Azalea: Daddy, I am here to wish you luck.
Xeno: My child, what are you doing here? Daddy’s got to finish this job he’s got going on right now.
Azalea: I just wanted to watch you kill this guy in front of me, so I can know how to put a guy down that doesn’t follow my orders, you know, in case something ever happened to you. I could be your heir.
Deep down, I knew she was trying to lure her dad into a trap. I didn’t want to say anything about it but just observed what was going on here.
Xeno: I appreciate that you’re trying to learn, but, It just needs to be me here. I just can’t let this guy escape. Why don’t you just go back to the house and help Alaina clean up there?
Azalea: I think it would best suit me if I learned a bit about killing, don’t you agree? I want to be like you.
Xeno: You really want to see some guy’s bloody end here? I don’t think you can handle seeing a dead body just yet.
Azalea: I am ready. You don’t have to baby me around anymore. I am 18 now. You should be grooming one of us for your world domination plans.
Xeno: I just don’t want you to get in the way, after what happened to your mom.
Azalea: Yes dad, I know. I promise I won’t jump in front of this man and get myself killed. I have no respect for this guy, either.
She had to be lying. The trick was to get close enough to him to betray him at the worst moment for him, before he could react himself.
Xeno: True, but I just can’t bear to kill one of my own kids at the expense of someone that deserves to die.
Azalea: Then I will just stand here and watch. I won’t do anything stupid.
Xeno: Why all of a sudden are you taking an interest in what I do now? I always had known you were pretty quiet around the house.
Azalea: Because people change. I tried my best to look for the person who helped get this man out in the first place, but I had no luck. You have to thank me for at least trying.
Xeno: …..and I appreciate it, but this isn’t the kind of stuff you should get involved with. Now why do you have a gun, sweetheart?
Azalea: For my protection, and protection only, and just in case you miss hitting this guy, too, you need extra backup.
Azalea: Daddy, please let me watch you kill this man. I want to learn so much about ruling the world in your stead when you pass on, after you take control of it. I was born to be a leader.
Xeno: I can show you later how to. Now is not the time to be distracting me, this is very, very important.
Azalea: Well then, have it your way, daddy. Can I at least do one more thing?
Xeno: Sure, my child, what is it?
Azalea: I just want to give you a hug goodbye, and good luck…….
Xeno: Oh okay. *hugs* You be safe on your way home sweetie.
Xeno never would have known what came next shortly after this hug. This gun would make him know in a moment.
Azalea: ……in the afterlife. I’m sorry, Daddy, but I have to do this for the good of us all.
Xeno: Wait, Azalea, don’t!!!!
It was too late for him to try to draw his gun back to protect himself, the bullet was fired…..
…..and just like that, I just saw Xeno clutching his throat in agony. Azalea had just shot her own dad through the throat, specifically the jugular vein, which if is wounded, spells instant death.
Xeno could not speak to curse us all, and something more surprising, he was mortal. He had inherited his father’s looks, but just on the outside. Inside, he was a human psychopath that just happened to look like his dad but had enough human characteristics from his mother to be killed like a normal human being.
I just couldn’t believe my eyes. Azalea had just saved my life, and the world, with one press of the trigger. I had to thank her for doing this for sure.
Cameron had come over as well to see what went on in the front yard. All he saw was a dead body of Xeno. He then just stood there staring at it, like the body was that interesting.
It still hasn’t dawned on me yet that my ordeal with the one who wanted me dead, has come to an end.
Azalea was upset that she had to do this for all mankind, but I think she could live with the fact that her life would never be in any danger again. It was her father, so I understand the grief.
Cameron let out a great big laugh, like he knew that this was a bad guy, but he was a poor sport in doing it in front of Azalea, who was crying her eyes out. Has the poor girl suffered enough heartache, Cameron?
That only made her even more upset, knowing that he helped her exist in the first place. She was a lot like her own mother, minus the bad thoughts. Nurturing was her highest ability.
We were all staring down at the corpse. This man had caused me enough trouble and him now being dead meant that karma really works, and he got his, in the form of his own next of kin.
As I watched Azalea cry, I thought about her triplet sisters, and how they would react now that both of their parents were gone.
The whole family gathered around to see what had happened outside. This was probably the most important thing to happen in the challenge to this point, and now my hard pain and suffering was over.
Azalea couldn’t stop crying. It was like despite his evil ways, her dad tugged on some of her emotions even after passing on.
The Grim Reaper then came to do his earthly duty in disposing of my greatest enemy.
It was funny finally seeing him in ghost form. I had been waiting for the day to come that this would happen, and it was finally here.
The reaper finally sent him to the underworld, where he deserved to go all along. Good Riddance, you son of a bitch.
His departure from the earthly plain came a bit too late for his other daughter, Adrienne, though, but she did hear that her sister was going to take out her father, so she came over as soon as she was finished with work.
I was proud to see her, all grown up and ready to go through life. She looked very much like her mother.
Lala followed her shortly after. Lala got word apparently that something happened on my property, involving Xeno.
I greeted my granddaughter and told her to wait inside, while I talked to the Queen.
So we met up in the kitchen and I explained to Lala what exactly happened.
Robert: Hey Lala, you wouldn’t believe how it happened. It came so quickly.
Lala: I came over as quickly as I could, Robert, what happened?
Robert: One of Xeno’s kids came over to the house and shot Xeno dead right in front of me. Azalea here came over to him and said “I’m sorry Daddy, I have to do this for the good of us all.” She then pulled a gun and shot him right through the throat. She was very upset that it happened, but if it wasn’t done, I likely would have been shot down by him. Oh and by the way, The Snake bailed on him too.
Lala: Oh, wow… I certainly wasn’t expecting anything like this. *turns to Azalea* Sweetie, thank you so much for this. You’ve saved Robert and his family, and you may well have saved the world… Robert, this is great news. You’re free now. I might have a little surprise for you by next week, too…
Azalea: You’re welcome, your majesty. Although I am still shaken by it because he is my own father, I understand that this was a life or death scenario and grandpa would have no doubt been eliminated.
Robert: You see that, Lala? This girl definitely knows right from wrong.
Lala: You’re right, Azalea. I’m very proud of you. You did the right thing. And Robert, I found out some upsetting news. When Adelia was a teenager, Xeno placed a bug on her that prevented her conscience from differentiating properly between right and wrong, so all she could think about was getting revenge on you. The only thing that could disable the bug was Xeno’s death, but it’s too late for that now…
Robert: Yeah, unfortunately. I wish there was a way to bring her back. She never got a chance to actually live her life, as she pretty much lived to serve Xeno.
Lala: To be fair, though, it’s a good thing that Xeno had Adelia. Without her, their children wouldn’t have been born, and then who would have killed Xeno? Also, Robert, I know of a way Adelia can be brought back. All we need is a witch, one with the power to perform a resurrection spell.
Robert: I know one, my daughter Willow. However I don’t think shes strong enough to perform it yet as she became a witch using a bottle of witches brew as a teen. I think she’s only a level 5 witch right now.
Lala: You need a level 7 witch to perform the spell. Also, the spell will only make Adelia into a ghost. You’ll need Ambrosia to make her human again, and the ingredients for Ambrosia are difficult to find. I know that if there’s anyone who can do it, though it’s you.
Robert: I’ll be sure to keep that in mind when it is time. It wasn’t too long ago since Willow left the house so I doubt she gained enough levels yet. Do you know what kind of ingredients I need for it? I never looked up on it before.
Lala: It’s easy enough, really. You need a Deathfish, which you can catch in the pond at the graveyard, and you need Life Fruit, which you can grow in a garden. The spell has to be performed at midnight in front of Adelia’s grave.
Robert: I’ll keep a mental note of it. I really want my daughter to live the life she always wanted, not under some mind-control. I miss her already.
Lala: Yes, Robert, I completely understand where you’re coming from. I know it’s tough to lose a child, it always is…
Meanwhile, Azalea was trying to get the sorrow out of her by crying into her sisters’ arms.
Robert: I am jut glad my ordeal is over though. I think I am going to finish the challenge as I made it this far, and as a personal goal.
Lala: That’s a good idea. It wouldn’t be right to just stop when you’re this far along. You have a good day, Robert, and good luck with things.
Robert: I’ll keep that in mind, bye. I gotta talk to Adrienne anyways. She didn’t see this all unfold.
Lala then headed in the direction of Azalea, who for some reason headed into the garage area.
I then went to talk to Adrienne, who was waiting patiently for me to finish my conversation with Lala. Azalea gave us a look and then headed to the garage to see my twin toddlers.
Adrienne: I got here so quickly. What happened? I heard that father met his end somehow.
Robert: You missed it. Your sister just put an end to his miserable life. He was planning on doing lots of horrible things to you and your family had he not been stopped.
Adrienne: Lots of horrible things? Oh my god, please tell me what he was going to do.
Meanwhile, in the other room, Azalea was having a little chat with our Queen. I knew she was going to have to tell her all about what had happened today.
Lala: (gently) Hi there, Azalea.
Azalea: Hi there, Lala, our queen. I suppose you want to know what happened from my point of view, right?
Lala: Yes, yes I do. You can tell me whatever you feel comfortable with, I need to know how things worked out this way.
Azalea: Well, let me start by telling you that me and my sister did in fact feed Robert to keep him alive for a little longer, but we knew that he still wouldn’t have too much longer to live if we didn’t do something about it. Our plan was to get the parents out of the house, and what we did was send them out for a night of pampering at the day spa downtown. We really didn’t have to worry about the Snake because he actually bailed shortly after the parents left so he could go clubbing. So we just simply broke grandpa out. A week later our Aunt Willow told us our mother died by accident because our other Aunt was trying to kill our dad and when she opened fire, unfortunately got in the way and our mom got shot and killed. We do not blame our Aunt but our own father because he was the one who planned this in the first place. A week after that, I had the knowledge that Daddy was going to go kill grandpa again but this time he was gonna bring the Snake, so I hurried over here just in time to see the Snake run away from the property. I confronted my father, told him I was sorry that this had to be done and then opened fire on him. I had to make the shot fatal. Is it natural for me to be mourning right now?
Lala: Of course it is, sweetie. You did the right thing. Do you know what your father was planning to do if he had succeeded in killing your grandfather?
Azalea: Admittedly, I don’t actually. Is it really bad?
Lala: Yes, sweetie, it is. He would have just continued killing anyone linked to your grandfather – your aunts and uncles, your cousins…do you remember seeing a blonde girl in Bridgeport?
Azalea: Vaguely, I do. There are a lot of blondes in Bridgeport. I know one of them was the daughter of one of the kids. I didn’t really go out much because my father had stricter rules than others. I think I talked to one that always wore a pink shirt. I think I work with her. Is her name Nadia by any chance?
Lala: Yes, Nadia’s the one. Your grandfather is dating Nadia right now, and she’s your father’s ex-girlfriend. She’s the reason why your grandfather is doing this challenge. When she and your father broke up, he decided to get even with her next boyfriend by giving him this challenge, and that just happened to be your grandfather.
Azalea: that’s quite shocking! What exactly was my father going to do with her?
Lala: He was going to kill her..
Azalea: Oh My God! What a Murderous son of a bitch!! That’s not my dad, that’s an animal! Now I understand why he had to be stopped. It’s kind of sad that he wanted to kill someone whose only fault was that she got involved with the wrong people.
Lala: There’s more. Your parents were going to set up the Snake, to have him kill Adelaide and Nadia while your parents flee to Sunset Valley so he would get caught for it. I was going to be in Sunset Valley, since I have a handful of children I visit there every month, and they were going to get me next.
Azalea: So Basically, that means we would have all been doomed if grandpa died.
Lala: Yes. After he got rid of me, he’d pretty much be in control of everything. I’m pretty sure he would then turn on you, your mother and your sisters. And lastly, a girl with whom your grandfather became involved, Rosalie…your father probably would have forced her into becoming his bride and slave.
Azalea: It sounds like I deserve some kind of medal for preventing such a catastrophic situation. That just blows my mind that he would turn on us too. I think one day when we were younger, I did eavesdrop and he was planning on doing all that stuff to us, but I wasn’t going to really believe it unless someone actually knew the truth.
Lala: Well, sweetie, I’ll tell you what I just told your grandfather. I found something interesting about your parents. Your father put a bug on your mother when she was just a teenager so that she would want to get revenge on your grandfather. She was under your father’s control, and the only thing that would have stopped it was your father’s death.
Azalea: Oh wow. Is there anyway anyone could bring her back? It would be wonderful to see her again.
Lala: There is a way, and I’ve already spoken with your grandfather about it. We need a witch to resurrect your mother, and your grandfather needs to make a dish called Ambrosia to bring her back to life. If I hear any news about her being successfully brought back to life, I’ll contact you and your sisters.
Azalea: Okay. Wait, wait, wait, you mean a trip to come see her? What are you planning to do? I thought when she comes back to life that I could see her at some place in Bridgeport.
Lala: Some home inspectors are going to be inspecting this house to make sure it’s up to code. If it isn’t, I’m going to have to move your grandfather to Starlight Shores, and if he hasn’t restored your mother by then, he’ll have to finish up over there.
Azalea: Okay, fair enough.. I wouldn’t mind moving to Starlight Shores myself one day. I heard it is a vacation resort town where a few record companies make their home. It’s a great place to live. Can I ask you a question though, what kind of girl is Robert’s one true love?
Lala: I, personally, think that he and Rosalie are right for each other. She’s a nice lady, and I think that he’d be best off with her. Rosalie doesn’t know about the seriousness of Robert and Nadia’s relationship yet, though…
Azalea: I guess we will see how everything turns out in time. What are you planning to do now?
Lala: Well, I’ve got to get home. I have a few phone calls to make now that your father is gone and Robert is safe. I’ll talk to you later though, sweetie.
Azalea: You too, your majesty. Have a safe trip home, and thank you for telling me everything.
They then shared a little laugh, and Lala left to do her important stuff.
I was still talking to my other granddaughter at the same time…..
Robert: Well, here goes. Your dad was going to take control of this whole universe, and anyone that opposed him was going to be hunt down, kind of like a dictatorship. He was going to go after my kids next after he finished me, then go after our queen so he had a clear path to taking over the Boss’s chair. It gets a lot worse from there.
Adrienne: How much worse would it have gotten? That sounds bad enough already.
Robert: Well, he was going to turn the knife on you guys next. Apparently your mother and his children are not a part of his plans and he was going to kill all of you guys eventually, so he can make one of my ex-girlfriends his bride. He then was going to create a male heir with her so his lineage could continue and our world would continue to suffer until the end of time. Your sister, in a way, saved the world in more ways than you could have imagined.
Adrienne: Really? He was going to end our life? I was right to have never trusted him throughout my whole life. He was going to kill mom too, eventually if he wasn’t stopped, probably because she carried Mahoney blood inside of her.
Robert: That is correct. Your father would have not spared anyone that carried my lineage, and that included your mother. I actually found out just now that she was bugged by your dad, in an effort to brainwash her. She only could feel negative thoughts which meant that all she had on her mind was to help get rid of me. The only way that the bug would be disabled, unfortunately, was either her or your father passed on. Now that he is gone, she would have been a loving and caring member of this family just like you guys are had she have been alive today, but we know how it all ended for her.
Adrienne: Yeah, I know. I spent the better half of last week locked up in my bedroom not wanting to do anything but cry, once I found out about her death. I missed her so much and I wish that there was a way that the events of last week could be undone in some way.
Robert: There is a way. Your Aunt has some special powers to help bring her back in asome way, and then I have to do my job in finding ingredients for this food dish called Ambrosia, which will make her back to the person that she used to be before your father intervened. I promise to let all of you guys know when she comes back. I love her as much as I do my other kids, and I know it is not her fault that she fell into her trap.
Adrienne: Oh my god. That would be the best gift me and my sisters could ever imagine if she were brought back. Please, I beg you to do everything you possibly can to make her alive again. We will never forget it if you could make our wish come true.
Robert: I promise. I love you guys unconditionally, and I thank you for even giving me an opportunity to live again. That will be my reward for you guys for trusting me. I will definitely let you know what happens.
Adrienne: Thank you. Well, me and my sis have to get home now. I will try to calm down Azalea the best I can, I know she is a little distressed by ending our own father’s life. *hugs* I got to get going now, I suggest you say goodbye to Azalea too.
So I did go to her sister.
Robert: Again, thank you very very much for saving us all. I know killing your father wasn’t easy, but it was necessary for the future of our planet.
Azalea: *hugs* No problem. I do feel better now that I know the real truth about daddy’s intentions. I won’t go into detail but it is very bad.
Azalea: By the way, you do have some cute little ones crawling around here. They are so lucky to have you as their loving father. Makes me want to start my own family one day. What are their names?
Robert: They are named Lanie and Ludmilla. They look like the spitting images of their mother, Lily Marine, who is a half vampire, fox, and human. I know they will grow up to be beautiful and smart young women.
Azalea: I bet they will. I wish you all the luck in the world in finishing your challenge. Aren’t you close to finishing now?
Robert: Yes. 87 kids with at least one more on the way. Glad I am almost done already. I got to grab a little shut-eye now, so you and your sister have a good evening, and good luck to the both of you too. Until we meet again.
And with that, both of the kids left. This was definitely a red-letter day for the whole Mahoney group.
As I headed to bed that evening. I finally realized that I was free. Now I wanted to get these last 13 kids born and hopefully have that perfect ending I had been hoping for since I started the challenge. With Xeno now a memory, that is exactly how I am going to be taking my approach to this challenge, until the 100th child is born.
